Adventure begins the second you start your car and drive in the direction of Lake Arrowhead. Here's our list of "must see" experiences gauranteed to bring back the summer road trip.

RED ROCK LOOKOUT

No matter where you're from, a "must stop" location on your road trip to Lake Arrowhead should be Red Rock Lookout, home to one of the best views of Southern California, anywhere in Southern Caliornia.

On a clear day, you can see everything from the Inland Empire, to the Los Angeles skyline, even all the way out to Catalina Island as the sun reflects off the Pacific Ocean. Thi bucketlist item is definately worthy of a selfie with family and friends and is one of the coolest "kick offs" to let everyone on your social media channels know you've made it to the mountains and your adventure... is just getting started.

BEER BOTTLE CHAPEL

Visitors to this folk art environment can be overwhelmed by tightly packed profusions of scrap sculptures and interwoven art. Don't forget to look up at the rooftops of the buildings on the property. There are dolls riding tricycles and stuffed dummies performing acrobatics.

Located on a city block in downtown Riverside, the building features a chapel of beer bottles, gardens, mosaics, fountains of found objects and refuse, toys and ephemera.
